HOW DID YOU GUYS MEET?
We met at high-school, with our first interaction being at our year 9 formal.
WHY DID YOU WANT TO CAPTURE YOUR WEDDING ON VIDEO?
Photo's are wonderful, but there is something about capturing video footage that is extra special. You get so caught up on your wedding day its a really nice experience to be able to watch how the day unfolded.
WHY DID YOU GUYS PICK ME?
You were recommended by us from a friend, but we chose you as your laid back and calm nature appealed to us. The wedding process is stressful so you felt like the perfect fit for our day.
YOU GUYS… WHAT DO YOU DO? HOW DO YOU SPEND YOUR DAYS? WHAT’S IMPORTANT IN LIFE?:
We love our dogs..they are better than people ;) We love travelling and going places. Friends and family are important pillars in our lives. We are grateful for the life we live and aim in living it everyday if it was our last.
THE PROPOSAL… TELL ME EVERYTHING
Chels proposed to me in Hepburn springs (8th February, 2021). We had a lovely breakfast out, went to a lavender farm, had the afternoon at a day spa, and finished the night with a home cooked meal at our villa. Chels told me to get dressed nicely. I came out to a table done up with cheese and wine. She made me a compilation video filled with photos and videos from all the times we have had together. At the end of the video it said "now turn around"... and there she was on one knee asking me to marry her.
WARATAH WEDDINGS… WHY HERE ABOVE ANYWHERE ELSE?
The Mornington Peninsula has always been a special place for Chels and I. We have spent many day trips there, soaking in the day spas. It just felt right to get married at Tanglewood Estate in Dromana. We wanted something rustic, spacious and within the nature. Tanglewood was all of that and more.
WHAT’S PLANNED FOR THE HONEYMOON?
We decided to do a "mini moon". We went to Adelaide, Chelseas home state. We explored all the ins and outs of Adelaide which was lovely. We are planning on doing a belated honeymoon trip to Fiji later in 2024.
