ABOUT THE COUPLE

HOW DID YOU GUYS MEET?

Call it fate, call it destiny. Daniela was dragged out by her roommate to a trance event to celebrate his birthday. That night Ahmet was DJying at the Royal Melbourne Hotel. Daniela & Ahmet did make eye contact that evening, however didn't exchange words. Fast forward two weeks. Daniela is a crowd goer at the Creamfields Festival in Melbourne and Ahmet has just stepped off stage after yet another DJ set. Manoeuvring their way through a sea of 10,000 people, under the big white top at the Melbourne Showgrounds, their paths intercept.
“You’re THAT guy!” Daniela exclaimed. Ahmet responds with “you’re THAT girl." This was Saturday 28 April 2012 @ 4.57pm! The rest is history.

WHY DID YOU WANT TO CAPTURE YOUR WEDDING ON VIDEO?

It's rare that you get all the people you love gathered in the one space these days. We wanted a keepsake and an opportunity to witness and relive the rollercoaster of emotions over the span of our wedding day.

WHY DID YOU GUYS PICK ME?

We had been searching the web high and low for a good videographer. Your videos were captivating and we really appreciated the different angels you captured footage from. Your work has a cinematic vibe, capturing a story from start to finish seamlessly. Our final edit is *chefs kiss*!

YOU GUYS… WHAT DO YOU DO? HOW DO YOU SPEND YOUR DAYS? WHAT’S IMPORTANT IN LIFE?:

Daniela works in Marketing, loves yoga and time in nature. Ahmet works in IT, loves producing music and enjoys being behind the camera. We both value time with family, our weekends revolve around our dog Loui and we enjoy travelling to different countries and immersing ourselves in different cultures.

THE PROPOSAL… TELL ME EVERYTHING

During a 5 week trip to Europe, we spent 24 hours in Paris. Ahmet had spoken to Daniela's parents before departing for the trip and had received their blessing. After a beautiful dinner we made our way down to the Eiffel Tower just as the sun was setting. Ahmet found a private little spot and popped the question in a beautiful garden overlooking the Eiffle Tower. Daniela had NO idea a proposal was on the horizon that evening and it took her close to an hour to find her breath. Family back home were eagerly awaiting the news, because they knew the exact date it was going to happen.

ROCKLEA FARM… WHY HERE ABOVE ANYWHERE ELSE?

We wanted a relaxed "festival vibe", with and indoor + outdoor area. Rocklea Farm offered a wonderful layout and the flexibility to bring in your own caterers and vendors.

WHAT’S PLANNED FOR THE HONEYMOON?

3 weeks in Japan! We plan on covering as much ground as we can in that time. Really excited to see the country and soak up the culture.
